SELECTED PROJECT EXPERIENCE

Knight Arena. University of Oregon, Eugene OR. TVA Architects, Portland OR. (Design Architect) / Ellerbe Becket, Kansas City KA (Executive Architect), 2007-2009.

Senior architect.-team leader. 500,000 SF, 12,500 seat, $200 million, state-of-the-art, indoor basketball arena, on University of Oregon campus. Directed and coordinated all aspects of the design, public review, permitting, and documentation. Responsible for communication and implementation of design with design team all consultants. Stadium designed for LEED Gold Certification. All design and drawings on REVIT.


1129 20th Street NW. Washington DC. FOX Architects, 2006.

Designer & Project Architect. Designed and coordinated project from initial zoning analysis and feasibility study through schematic design and construction documents. Renovation and expansion of eight storey 180,000 SF building built 1961 to Class A office building with ground floor retail. Program included addition of two floor steel structure to existing concrete frame building. New aluminum curtain wall and pre-cast concrete skin, and state of the art building systems.

Washington DC, OPX. 2003-2005

Designer & Project Manager. 30,000 SF project in the Historic Dupont Circle neighborhood. Program Included complete renovation, expansion and integration of two turn-of-the century buildings, one a stately mansion on the historic buildings register, into a class A office building. Restoration of historic limestone facade and interior state rooms. Addition of 4th floor, stair and elevator tower. New state-of-the-art mechanical, and electrical systems. Building opening ceremony hosted by Ms Angela Merkel Prime Minister of the Federal Republic of Germany.


Boeing Airplane Co. Chicago IL, Callison, Seattle WA, 2001.

Designer-Project Manager.  New Boeing Executive Headquarters in Chicago, a 250,000 SF world-class facility designed and built in 180 days. Responsible design, production and CA for the executive interiors:  Project program included offices, kitchen and dining, health club, press/media facilities, & state-of-the-art communication/media technologies.


HQ/Vantas: Multiple locations, Callison, Seattle WA, 1999-2000.

Designer & Project Architect. Lead in project team for the design and construction of corporate business centers in multiple locations including Boston, Manhattan, Los Angeles, and Pittsburgh.

Active in redefining the modern workplace and executing concepts into finished design.  Active participation in providing architectural definition to client’s business goals. Responsible for design, documentation and construction administration.


Hewlett Packard, Genesis IV. Ft Collins CO,  Callison, Seattle WA, 1998.

Designer & Project Architect. State of the art wafer-fab. & clean room facility. Responsible for exterior skin and massing design selected through in-house design competition.  Responsible for coordination of winning design with consultants.


Institute of Justice.  Arlington Virginia, OPX Global, Washington DC, 2005.

Designer & Project Architect.  45,000 SF Office interiors.

Headquarters for an iconoclastic group of libertarian lawyers dedicated to public interest law and protection of civil rights.  Voted “Best places to Work” Washington post Magazine 2007. All design on Form-Z.
